Why only one Jewish Ms. America?

So, the only Jewish woman to ever be crowned Ms. America was Bess Myerson in 1945 and she was crowned partially as a symbol of "America's post-war rejection of the crimes and prejudices that ravaged Europe"

What does it mean, though that there has only been one Jewish Ms. America EVER. And we only got that win as an f-you to the Nazis...

Does it mean Jewish women are too smart to enter beauty pageants? Just not our thing?? Does it mean that Jewish women don't have the look that beauty pageant judges are looking for?
